Built in 1919, Musconetcong Country Club (otherwise known as Minebrook Golf Club, Hidden Hills Golf Club & Rock Ridge Golf Course) is New Jersey’s third oldest golf course.
The original nine holes of the golf course were built from 1920 to 1921 by renowned golf architect Herbert Strong. Herbert was a Golf Pro who was one of the founders of the PGA. He later focused on golf architecture up and down the East Coast and into Canada.
A few famous courses that Strong designed are listed below:
Centenary University’s first President, Dr. Robert Trevorrow was elected the first President of Musconetcong Country Club in 1920.
The course opened for play on Memorial Day 1921.
The Musconetcong CC was purchased by John and Marlene Rocco in 1958. They heavily invested the course and property, by adding:
